Amateur Radio License Information

Rte 116 to Meadow Street (four way traffic light), go toward the center of North Amherst. At the next set of traffic lights, take a left then go left at the fork in the road. Go past the auto body shop on the left, Cowls lumber yard on the right and once you come up to The Harp on the right, take a right onto Cowls Road. Amherst Machine is the first driveway on the left. It is not marked, it is a Morton style building. Plenty of parking, go enter on the left hand side of the building and please enter there.

Please have a picture ID ready or two forms of other ID. If you are currently licensed, please bring your original and a photo copy, also bring your CSCEs and any photocopy of each.

Testing starts at 7 PM sharp, please arrive EARLY!

The current test fee is $14.00.

We test the third Monday of January, April, July and October.

We will be happy to do a special session for you anytime you are ready to take your ham radio license. Please give us a couple weeks notice so we can get our Volunteers together and make all the appropriate announcements.
